The Polytune MINI only accepts a 9 v power supply, too small for a battery. That should go for all of the mini pedals, there’s no room for the battery compartment.

If you are using the 1/4″ out, which is unbalanced; you may want the Boss tuner so you can have a buffer in the signal. You can also get the Boss tuner as a “double buffer” is fine. Most people start noticing issues with buffers when their entire pedalboard is made up of them.
