Does Currys insurance cover accidental damage?
We do NOT cover for accidental damage, cosmetic damage, loss or theft. In general, home insurance will cover theft and accidental damage but not mechanical breakdown. There is usually an excess charge on a home insurance to any claims made. We do NOT charge any excess on any of the benefits of our plans.

How do I stop Currys support?
You can cancel your Repair & Support Plan with Currys PC World whenever you like by calling or emailing their customer service department. If you cancel within 45 days of your purchase and haven’t used the service, you will get a full refund.
What guarantee do you get with Currys?
Faulty goods Within product’s guarantee period (normally 12 months from purchase), we will offer you a prompt repair service. We do not cover faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse or normal wear and tear.

What does Currys insurance cover? Your manufacturer’s product guarantee provides cover for mechanical and electrical breakdown but will normally be limited to a year and may not cover parts or breakdown through mishap. Instant Replacement protects your product for up to 3 years, so that if it breaks down we’ll replace it on the spot.

Once we issue you with a Currys PC World voucher to replace your product, we will immediately cancel your Plan with effect from the date of the incident which gave rise to the repair request and you’ll be entitled to a pro-rata refund of any Plan payments made for the period after the date of termination of the Plan.
