Where is cloud top in Oblivion?
Cloud Top is a mountain and ruined fort northwest of Chorrol (quest-related). It must be reached in order to complete the Fingers of the Mountain quest for the Chorrol Mages Guild recommendation.

- Get Fingers of the Mountain from Cloud Top.
- Go to Chorrol and give the book to Teekeeus.
- Take the book from the chest.
- Give the book to Earana.
- Wait at least 25 hours.
- If Earana is not at the Grey Mare, find her by the Mages Guild.

Acquiring Finger of the Mountain requires the Hero to first gain Earana’s notes from the quest (see Chorrol Recommendation). They must acquire a Welkynd Stone and a spell that deals Shock damage. Then they must travel to Cloud Top….Acquisition.

The book is located at the Cloud Top ruin. Follow your compass out of town and up the mountain to this small stone structure. Search the scorched body on the ground and you’ll find the Fingers of the Mountain book.
How do I get Honorblade of Chorrol?
Acquisition. The Hero may obtain this weapon from a Redguard Valley Ogre Chieftain in the quest “Sins of the Father,” or by pickpocketing it from the Countess of Chorrol while she sleeps after completion of the quest.
Is it better to fortify Intelligence or Magicka?
Both enchantments boost your character’s Magicka reserves, but the Fortify Magicka enchantment gives you more. However, my brother told me that Intelligence is better because it apparently decreases the Magicka costs of spells, in addition to the aforementioned Magicka bonuses.

Because the pillar’s spell is aimed, it will hit the column and you won’t receive any damage, but still receive Finger of the Mountain. Alternately, just stand on top of the pillar. The shock blast usually misses. It is possible that the marker for Teekeeus will remain on your map even after you complete “Fingers of the Mountain”.
Where do you take the chorrol recommendation in Oblivion?
If given to Earana, you will be asked to steal it back by Teekeeus (but wait until Earana gives you her notes first). Either way you will receive the Chorrol Recommendation. Afterwards, take the note from Earana and head back to Cloud Top.
Can you get the arcane University in Oblivion?
If you are only interested in gaining access to the Arcane University, you have completed the requirements for such (although this may not be apparent; see Bugs ). However, the quest update suggests that you should tell Earana that she won’t be getting the book.
